Description
There are cigar that have a link to something but not many cigars are born with a history. The name Charter Oak pays respect to a tree which holds a big significance to Native Americans in the Connecticut River Valley as a place where the people would grow tobacco of their own.
Comprised of tobaccos from the Jalapa and Esteli areas of Nicaragua, Charter Oak pays an additional homage to Nick’s grandfather, a World War II vet who enjoyed Connecticut tobaccos, similar to the ones used in Charter Oak. Bursting with exceptional flavors of roasted nuts, light pepper and a hint of chocolate – this is a Connecticut you can enjoy any time of the day.
